I have been stumbling through the virtual world of Second Life for over 7 years with fascination of each place I have explored. The creativeness that designers share of a world that is simply amazing and enjoyed by many is a pleasure to write about. Its been my desire to share the places I have visited on a blog but being a newbie to blogging I put the idea on hold until I finally decided to just jump in and see what happens. I hope you enjoy your travels wherever they may take you.

Baskinta .. An Experiment in World Peace ..LEA11
I missed the pre viewing of this serene sim due to RL things but took some time to go over and explore recently. What a wonderful place to meditate and take in the beautiful views. I enjoyed sitting in a chair looking out at the scene that surrounded me. Balloons hovering in the air filling the sky with color, water lilies glistening in the sunlight and a lighthouse high on a hill brought so much peace to me. Thank you to the Linden Endowment of the Arts LEA for the grant that enabled the creators to come up with a sim that is is so visually calming and peaceful. I noticed a sign that stated there will be events held there so please take a few moments to check those out when you have time. Everyone involved with creating this quaint enlightening fishing village should be very proud of what they have accomplished. The skills of Wren Noir, GoodCross, Ayla Zhoy along with Morgan Whitfield and anyone else who participated have shown us in the Second Life community how each of us need to take a few minutes to catch our breath, take in the views and find peace within ourselves.
